Miss Dee-Lovely has been
performing at nightclubs and events across the Midwest since 1997. Among her
credits include a 1999 appearance on "The Jerry Springer Show" and performing
with her longtime idol and friend the Lady Miss Kier (lead singer of the
now-disbanded Deee-Lite, most famous for their dance anthem "Groove is in the
Heart"). Miss Dee has also performed alongside Yoko Ishida, (Japan's equivalent
of Britney Spears.)
She has been a nightclub
deejay for many years, having come up in the Minneapolis rave scene of the late
1990's alongside several well-established turntablists including DJ Sun, RED-IZE,
FLX, DJ Dirty Dub, and several others. She has made acquaintances with several
of the nation's most famous female impersonators, including Candis Cayne (ABC'S
"Dirty Sexy Money"), The "Lady" Bunny (founder of Wigstock), and Lypsinka. She
recently starred as Dr. Frank N. Furter in the Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild's
production of "The Rocky Horror Show."
